Our now traditional festive season visit to Belview was further enhanced this year by a thick covering of snow and, on one particular morning, by a really beautiful hoar frost in the trees. The warm, cosy and fully equipped cottage left nothing wanting as usual, providing as it does all modern facilities, including HDTV should you find the time to watch it! Add to this its almost ideally quiet but convenient location on an immaculate site and you have the perfect holiday accommodation for enjoying all that Dorset has to offer. Highly recommended for all seasons.

Quite simply the nicest, best equipped and cleanest cottage we have ever stayed in. Everything is top quality, even the clothes pegs! Certainly 5* quality all round. We found talking to all the locals took us back 30 years, everyone was so friendly and talkative. We had a wonderful week visiting this part of Dorset and could definitely recommend Belview Cottage to anyone. Thank you very much.

We have all enjoyed our stay at Belview. Over the years we have stayed in many cottages and this has definitely been the most comfortable and well equipped – well done Brian and Gillian. Stunning cottage, the attention to detail is amazing, everything you need for a fantastic break. Beautiful countryside walks for our dog and a great location for exploring the rest of Dorset. So peaceful it will be hard to leave. Thanks for a fabulous holiday!!

A wonderful cottage which is very well equipped. It was lovely to have such a big freezer then we didn’t have to take the boys shopping too often! The boys enjoyed waking to the sound of horses. Great location. Tank museum was great. Wi-Fi was a great bonus, allowed us to plan our days more easily. The toys were great, especially the chess!

This lovely cottage is the cleanest, most immaculate place we have ever stayed in. It is absolutely beautiful – thank you so much for all your hard work in maintaining it so nicely with such quality fixtures and fittings! I also love the garden, the lavender by the kitchen window, the lovely pink roses whilst washing up! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place and we have visited Dorset a lot over the years. Lovely to wake up to tranquillity with just the sound of the birds and cows – bliss.

Lovely week helped by the gorgeous weather. As all have said, beautiful cottage with all needs catered for. Corfe Castle and Old Sherborne fab for boys (7 & 4) to run round and adventure. Studland Beach beautiful. Fleet Air Arm Museum worth a trip. Thank you!

Daubney family, Yorkshire

Lovely cottage and surroundings. Corfe Castle, Dorchester, Sherborne (dog lovers aplenty), Monkey World, Farmer Palmers all worth going to. Maybe made better by going out of season! Nearest rustic cider we found was yon side of Yeovil. Local pub Antelope Inn accepts dogs and kids.
