Mr & Mrs Bestall, Sheffield
We had a lovely stay at Belview Cottage. It was the perfect base to visit Dorset. The cottage itself was superb and ticked all the boxes. Brian and Gillian gave us a warm welcome on arrival.
Read Family, London
We had a lovely stay at Belview Cottage. The rural location in the Dorset countryside was exactly what we were after. We enjoyed the cows in the fields, bird song and woodpecker. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed dinner outside on the patio on our first night - the weather has been glorious this Easter and we were able to make the most of our holiday visiting Studland, Portland Lighthouse, Chesil Beach, Charmouth and Heritage Coast, Corfe Castle and Old Harry Rocks. Thanks so much for everything, and a delicious Dorset chocolate Easter egg on our arrival!
Mrs Hodgson, Wiltshire
I have been trying to book a stay at this cottage for several years and I've finally made it! I am so glad: what a find! It's a beautiful cottage, in an amazing location. Very well equipped and decorated. There's everything here that you could want. It certainly is "a hidden gem". Many thanks to Gillian & Brian.
Scott Family, Hampshire
A warm, cosy and pristine cottage in a beautiful area - made for a very relaxing and enjoyable short stay - thank you!
Mr & Mrs Ledger, South Yorkshire
We have been so many times to this wonderful cottage we have lost count. It has everything you need in it. Gillian & Brian are most welcoming and always there if you need anything. Visited our usual places such as Monkey World, Sherborne, Studland, Lulworth, just to name a few. The new places we have visited are Compton Acres, Tyneham and Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens. We have really enjoyed our stay once again, and of course will be sorry to leave. But would love to come back again.
The cottage is beautiful and well-equipped. Cleaned to a very hgh standard. Wonderful countryside for walks. Very peaceful and quiet. Brian & Gillian gave us a wonderful welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Enjoyed sitting in the garden one afternoon in the sun, listening to the birds.
Mr & Mrs Berry, Essex
We have had a lovely stay at Belview Cottage, everything has been thought of. Sherborne Castle has lovely grounds and is worth a visit. Enjoyed Sturminster Mill tour which we found very informative. Belview Cottage is a lovely place to stay. Thank you to Gillian and Brian for providing everything you could think of, your attention to detail is wonderful. The welcome tea and biscuits and the flowers on the window sill were lovely touches and very much appreciated.
Mr & Mrs Hogg, Surrey
As previous guests have stated, this holiday cottage provides everything you could wish for here. Gillian and Brian are very welcoming and willing to help with your every need to make an enjoyable holiday. Recommend Sandbanks beach near Poole, Weymouth, Swanage Steam Railway journey to Swanage, our favour place and beach. "Curiosity" shop is a must in Swanage. Also Bovington Tank Museum.
Ros & Dave, North Wales
Had a fabulous few days here, really wish we had booked a fortnight - Dorset has so many lovely places to see - don't miss Lulworth Cove, it's absolutely stunning. Many thanks to our hosts, Gillian and Brian, who were so helpful in arranging some things for us - a really big thank you. The cottage is perfect, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need plus more. We will be recommending Belview to everyone and we'll certainly be back.
Mr & Mrs Skinner, Suffolk
Comfortable and very well equipped cottage, home from home, one of the best cottages we have stayed in, lovely countryside and coastline.
Mr & Mrs Trevena
Big thanks to Gillian & Brian. Thank you both for a truly wonderful week. Our Christmas was the best ever in a long time, we could not have wished for a more lovely cottage, with everything you could ever wish for and need. We only have a week here and could have easily stayed for longer, we wanted to explore but weather not permitting being December. Idea was to relax with friends over the festive break and we certainly did that. Many thanks, it was truly magical.
